The Company's 6,600,000 registered shares, with a total value of Baht 660,000,000.-, are divided into two categories:-
- 6,000,000 A-Shares, held by the Ministry of Finance (6,000,000 shares) , each valued at Baht 100.-, fully paid at Baht 600,000,000.-
- 600,000 B-Shares, held by member airlines, each valued at Baht 100.- fully paid at Baht 60,000,000.-
The share ratio between A-shares:B-shares is 91:9
B-share Allocation
B-Shares will be allocated each year due to an alteration in the number of flights causing a cancellation of membership, a termination of operations, a new member, and an increase or decrease in capital. This is in line with the Company's Articles of Association, Item 3 which stipulates that
B-Shares shall be re-allocated among the member airline companies on the first day of August of each year in the ratio of the international services into and/or domestic services in Thailand scheduled in the published timetables for the first seven days of the preceding June.
In the case of special resolution on increase or decrease capital, all B-Shares shall be re-allocated as of the date approved by the shareholders for increasing or decreasing the capital, in the ratio of the international services into and/or domestic services in Thailand scheduled in the published timetables for the first seven days of the preceding month.
